For Cassae Rae’s 16th birthday her Mom arraged for everyone to meet at the bowling alley and suprise her. We all showed up early and got a couple lanes ready for their arrival. It as was pretty fun and Gwen even bowled for the first time ever. After we went to a pizza place and ate while eating the cake that Mylea and Mom made for her. Here’s the Gallery of Pics
My life seems to be full of meetings now. If I’m not meeting with Tucson then I’m meeting with a group in my office. If it is not a meeting here then I’m meeting with the Stake President about our network or family history center.
Anyway, the weekend is fast approaching and it couldn’t have come soon enough. After this last meeting i’m outta here. Outta here and home to computers and websites and fun stuff like that.
This morning I woke up with a killer headache and didn’t want to get out of bed. But eventually I did. Wes and I decided to get out of the house for a while and go on a picnic, we invited Mylea to come with us and she accepted. We had gotten her a cute jar thing for Christmas in 07′ and told her that we wanted to put sand and sea shells in it from our honeymoon at Imperial Beach. So she brought her glass jar and after the picnic we washed the sand and dryed it and made a fun jar full of sand and sea shells.
After we ate the picnic we went to a little pond at our AWESOME golf course, that is not running right now… Anyway he had a great time swimming after the stick that Mylea would throw in for him. He lost a few and Wes would have to go find another one for him. He really didn’t want to go when we decided it was time. When we got home we got to put together the sand and sea shell project with Mylea, she had been anticipating this day for a really long time. I felt really bad because I haven’t had time to just sit down and do this with her, and I finally just made time today, and I hope it made her happy. I think it turned out really nice and hope she will enjoy it for a long time.
Ya, so I looked to see what everyone else was doing for Spring Break and it appears that people actually do have them. This week is spring break for me too, and i’m currently chilling in a luxurious environmental services trailer waiting for someone to show up with their laptop so I can fix it. outside of this immaculate aluminum getaway is an ash haul road where huge dump trucks are driving by. the peace and serenity provide the perfect touch to my spring break treasure.
Really, things are going great! Amanda & I are getting back into the school groove, and i’m trying to figure out how to balance work and work and school and then some amanda. Not an easy task, but we are getting taken care of and I’m sure everything will work out.
This last weekend was the gymnastics recital that went great! The music was all the right length and the kids performed awesome! We even had a fund raiser for the Rodeo Club. I’m so glad there are things here for the youth of the community, and I love to participate in it because I once got to partake in all the fun, and because my son will be of age to do so in a number of years. Hopefully he can enjoy some of the small town, simple enjoyment that I did myself.
On that note, the badge on our blog says another 100 days until Rustyn will make his appearance. While there is three numbers in that date it still seems like it is just around the corner and there is next to no time to get ready for it.
So we are sitting here at the end of our day looking at books and homework, and I turned to Amanda and told her how she needs to be updating our blog. She turned back to me and said, “with all the time that I have…” I said the same thing and figured that if I didn’t just do something now it probably wouldn’t happen because this weekend is going to get INSANE! We have the gymnastics recital this weekend, and we will be very busy herding little kids. Things have been very busy lately and we have both been feeling that with Migraines. I have been trying to relax in the midle of all these things to keep it from coming back, but that isn’t working out too well.
Pretty much life if going well, and we have been very blessed in our lives especially with our son. Only three more months of getting to sleep and then we will see about whining about migraines..
