The County Fair, & buying Linus..
We took a day, and had a fun time as a family. We went and watched Marlen play some volleyball at the Spiker Classic Tourney, and then headed down to the Apache County Fair. Rustyn got to ride his first Carnival rides, and I got to eat a snow cone. It was a great day had by all!
I also bought a goat. Check it out on ZNET’s blog.

I’ll have a McBaby #2 with a princess toy!
Here is the exclusive look at the first profile pose of . She’s already showing us her good looks! While the appointment was a total let down because we had to go to Ultrasound Specialists in Show Low where they didn’t have all the cool stuff that the Doctor’s ultrasound tech has in-house. We are glad to know that she is healthy and doing well.
What do you guys think? Should she have a middle name or is inheriting my sweet namesake totally the better choice?
Yet another Sunset & Rustyn
Moonrise
Amanda came home from work and said the moon was really pretty so I setup our DSLR with my TI-83 and told it to take a bunch of shots every twenty seconds hoping we’d get a neat shot. here is the result.
Rustyn at his best!!
Rustyn is becoming so much fun! He makes me laugh every day and I need to start writing these things down before I forget them. First he is trying to run! This is pretty comical. He tries so hard and falls a lot! He is definatly a boy banging into everything with his head, but not much will slow this boy down. He dropped a 5lb weight on his big toe and cried for a minute and has been fine since then. I am thinking he is going to loose his toenail. He saw me writing today and deciced he needed to try. He grabbed the pen with his left hand and started drawing on the paper. I tried to put him down and he got upset so I gave him his own pen and paper and he was loving it! He kept switching the pen from right to left seeing what was more comfortable for him… He ended up liking his left hand better I think.
Newish iPod Video
I always think of these things after I’ve torn something apart and put it back together. I got an iPod after getting back from my mission, a 30GB video one before the touchieness came out. Since a few cold winters in my car, and I’m sure the heat in the valley didn’t help either, the battery has stopped working. Stopped working to the point where it couldn’t even boot itself up to run off of the car charger. I decided to take it apart, just to see it before i threw it in the trash. When I saw how simple it was inside I looked online and found a new battery, front cover, and LCD (it had been cracked and messed up as well) for like 30 dollars. The parts all came in yesterday, and magically I switched everything out, and have a newish iPod. It can go back in my truck to hook up to my deck for tunage on the go-age.
Check it, and remember next time to rip apart your old electronics before you throw them away.
