Criag, Andra’s son, had a dinner and party at the Rhoton’s house and invited Rustyn and Alex. The food was amazing and so was the company. Alex and Craig even shared a chair when they decided they had enough fun for the evening.
We had some fun over the holiday weekend. Rustyn had Grandpa fix his bike so he could reach the handle bars, but we still need to tape some blocks on to the pedals so he can really ride it. Amanda’s MTC companion Char and her husband Brian came to visit so Rustyn and his new friend Kai watched shows, rode the fourwheeler, and played at the park with Cordell. Alex even made a new friend too. On Monday we went to Cassey’s graduation party and visited Gwen. Rustyn pushed Mylea around in Gwen’s chair most of the time.
A story about Bonnie Rogers, or Nana as I call her. She will be missed alot, but never forgotten.
– Mylea (Wes’ Sister)
The primary program is this Sunday, and they are going to incorporate a missionary tool to help teach how the Church is built. I typed this up real quick to give the young women that will teach it a guide with some pretty pictures. It is a fun lesson, especially if you have kids help with the part when the Apostles are killed and the Church crumbles. Please download the PDF or the Word Document to edit and improve on it. Including the Priesthood when talking about the foundation of the Church is a good add-on.
Just a quick note, I found the recipe book that John and I wrote in when we served together in Athens. I put them on our Recipe Blog @ http://www.wesmcb.com/RECIPES
If you cook them please send me a picture of it so I can add it to the recipe. Also, if anyone would like to contribute to the Recipe Blog please let me know and I’ll get you an account to post to it.
