Family Home Evening Idea: Cup Lesson

The primary program is this Sunday, and they are going to incorporate a missionary tool to help teach how the Church is built. I typed this up real quick to give the young women that will teach it a guide with some pretty pictures. It is a fun lesson, especially if you have kids help with the part when the Apostles are killed and the Church crumbles. Please download the PDF or the Word Document to edit and improve on it. Including the Priesthood when talking about the foundation of the Church is a good add-on.

ZNET’s Newest Employee, Linus the Goat

The Apache County Fair was this week, and on Saturday they auctioned off the steers, lambs, pigs, and goats that youth have trained over the course of the year.  We decided to purchase a goat that would be donated to the Round Valley Rodeo Club Extravaganza (http://www.wonderfulwesterns.com).  We hope it will enjoy its new home, and help the youth of the Round Valley and surrounding communities continue the tradition of rodeo in our area.  Thank you Mylea McBride for taking care of Linus this year!

I’ll have a McBaby #2 with a princess toy!

Here is the exclusive look at the first profile pose of . She’s already showing us her good looks! While the appointment was a total let down because we had to go to Ultrasound Specialists in Show Low where they didn’t have all the cool stuff that the Doctor’s ultrasound tech has in-house. We are glad to know that she is healthy and doing well.

What do you guys think? Should she have a middle name or is inheriting my sweet namesake totally the better choice?

Moonrise

Amanda came home from work and said the moon was really pretty so I setup our DSLR with my TI-83 and told it to take a bunch of shots every twenty seconds hoping we’d get a neat shot.  here is the result.
