I was cleaning the house this morning and Luna wanted to get away from the vacuum and the broom, so he hid under the table. He made himself very comfortable on the cross bar of one of our chairs there. What a goof ball!!
Mylea, Wes’s little sister, was spending the day with me one day this week and her and Luna became good friends. She was watching a movie and Luna came up and wanted attention like always, but she invited him on the lovesac with her and he didn’t hesitate one bit. They cuddled for a while. It was pretty cute that is for sure! Mylea is going to show him in the dog show this weekend at Eagar Daze, she is so excited. We will for sure post some pictures and maybe even a video or something.
Is that KNIFE CITY?!?
So we have had this bull for a few years now to build up the 1 Acre Ranch herd. My dad had bought this bull from a local that bucks bulls on Thursday nights. Well the time has come to tade in our bull to keep the gene pool nice and neat. We took him last night to the Jackpot Bullriding they were having and we heard over and over, “Is that Knife City?.” We had found out his name by a friend of ours a year back by him exclaiming the same thing. Who knew our bull had suc ha cool name. Anywho Kinfe City is moving on to become the Apache Reservations newest bull, and my dad has become two heifers richer. So long Knife City, Mylea will miss you!

End of July Catchup
Here’s the cell phone wrapup of the last few weeks. I wasn’t sure what to blog about so i just pulled some pictures off of my cell phone and here we go…
Tucson Trip. A little work with a little fun. We went with Dez and family to Funtastics and did a little bumper boat action among Golf, Lasertag, and Gokarts. It was a great break and we took my little sister Mylea along with us. A little sneak peak of parenthood?
Hmmmm… Whats this? It is one of Amanda’s 12 books for her first semester of Nursing school? We have been delving into the first eleven chapters these past few days. She is to be well versed in those eleven chapters before the first day of school.
As if a dozen book weren’t enough we are submitting everything from bloodtype to shot records to get her in and ready to go. We dropped some paperwork off on Monday to the school in Show Low and i couldn’t get her to pose in front of this picture. I think she is handling the stress of it all pretty well. Afterwards we went to see The Dark Knight in Pinetop. AMAZING!!! Go watch it like three times. Not in a row though cause that is a pretty long movie.

The weather of the season has brought us some pretty nice looking scenery. Everything is green, and the clouds have been soo beautiful lately.
Life comes at ay fast…
it seems that life comes in bursts. things were very smooth last week and life just flowed, but then the bumpy road comes and we remember that no victory comes without trial, or there is always something for us to go through to strengthen us in our lives. there is a rainbow at the end of this stormy day, we will soon find ourselves in Tucson enjoying the weekend with family and a swimming pool.

oh ya, and Amanda and I both have golfed a (-4) game on Wii Sports… Just felt like that needed to be added. Got my *Pro dealio on Bowling a few days ago, so i’m slowly moving onto Tennis. I’m not a fan of Baseball or Boxing too much so i may end up a 3 star Professional. hehe Wow, it sounds like that’s all i do, but i promise we don’t play it that much…The Mole comes on at 9 and we can’t just do both at the same time now can we?
Shout out to Shayman
Aubrey, Computer Master!
At the BBQ for Sam & Jill we turned the webcam on my laptop on while Aubrey was playing with it and i found the video on my computer yesterday so i posted it just for fun.
4th of July Happy Time…
Okay, here’s the photo story of our weekend with a video thrown in of us roping on the 4th. I think we all had a blast and everyone enjoyed it.

The first night we all got together and watched “The Cowboy Way” in the backyard. I brought a tv and we hooked it up in on top of the water cooler and it didn’t even rain on us.

Dad was breaking in his new saddle with Granola (Canola) Oil. It still squeaks like crazy but it feels good to ride.

On the 4th we got up and went to the parade. Same place as usual, but we had a roping dummy and a deck of cards out for the wait.

After everyone got a nap or time playing the Wii at our house we all went out to the barn and roped a little. It ended up being a blast! Check out the video for our skills. I’m in the middle of the video in between my Dad and Kody roping on Buff. (Brown Horse) I headed a round for Clancey, and i can’t remember the last time we had roped together.

Can’t get enough of the sunsets here.

We headed up onto the hill to watch the fireworks and have Dad’s birthday cake. Cynthia brouht Catch Phrase and we played it in the dark. Pretty good stuff!!

Pictures were took in complete blackness so we didn’t know how they turned out till we got home.

I think they were having way to much fun at the roping in Pinetop.

It rained a couple of times so hard they stopped the roping. We had enough jackets and everything to stay pretty dry.

Clancey roped really well for how much rain we got. He actually came back high team in the short-go, but didn’t get the third steer down.
It’s good to be around family on the fourth. Last year we had to stay in the valley and didn’t get to do much outside going to a BBQ with Matt Hubbard’s family which made it all worth it. Without that it would have been pretty boring!
