We went to the RV vs. SJ football game last friday with my lil’ sis and my dad. There was not a seat at the field to be found so we stood on the track the whole time. I randomly went to the local paper’s site and looked at the sports page and there we were. Ya we aren’t in focus, but on the left of the picture you will see myself, Amanda, and my Dad.

*UPDATE: Just to clarify, i’m the one with the shiny bald head… In case you couldn’t tell.

Real quick, here’s a few pics from Labor Day. We had a great time and hope everyone else did asd well. Amanada and I ended up in the Timer Shack running the rodeo. We gave out a ton of extra stuff that we had received over the season, so we were playing all sorts of games giving them away. We had a little roping at the end to have fun and here’s a few pics of it. Ya know you wanna click on ’em. Afterward we enjoyed hanging out with Clancey and Kody for the weekend. Clancey and I even roped on Monday morning before he took off back to the valley. We got about everything cleaned up on Monday and it was back to the norm after that.

School is in swing and we are trying to adjust. I think Amanda is doing much better than me in that department. Check out http://www.wonderfulwesterns.com to see the year end pictures from the Rodeo.

We made a trip down to the valley before school started (today, actually) for a few things. First off, and the reason for the trip, was that we went to Show Low to kinda have one last day away ((little did we know)) and on the way there our tire went WAY low. This was the other tire that Discount was supposed to have checked in Denver. Anyways we got a used one for it and decided to make the trip down to the valley and get it fixed.

We got down on Friday night and stayed with Aunt Mary. We swam in her pool which was awesome! It is a natural salt pool and feel great to swim in. Saturday we ran up to Crown of Life and I did some work for them up there including a new computer I built for them. After that we had lunch with Kody, and did a little work for Azstar. We had to get our wheels alligned so i hung out with the car and Amanda got to see Raelynn which was “muy bien”.

That night we went to Kody’s MCC football Scrimaage and then spend then evening with Riley and Shayla. Oh ya, and we bought a Wii Fit.

Sunday, we made the trip back to the west sided to see Jay Brownlow’s homecoming, and see Chad, Mindy, and the girls as well. From there we had lunch with Clancey and Kody at Texas Roadhouse which was awesome! It’s great to see that kid and get to talk to him. Miss him for sure. We drove home through Pinetop to get Luna where he was having his vacation at Green’s Peak. Arriving at home we hooked up the Wii Fit and found out that i’m Obese (thanks for the new news Nintendo), and played it ’til we decided we should head to bed. We both went to be with headaches and magically they both went away with the night’s sleep.

Fall Semester here we come!

Since i’m reviewing i’ll throw in the other book that I read so i’ll be all caught up. The book is a non-fiction account of an Astronomer’s account with tracking a hacker in his first job as a computer guy. I read it very fast because of the tecnical jargon and dated techonology that was being used.

I think we may have mistakenly gotten ourselves a parrot. She was just watching me work on my laptop, but i think the expression on her face is funny. Almost sour or something.

Spring Cave

After sleeping in at the Barn wood room Donna and Mindy’s girls came up to the cabin. After eating some doughnuts we headed up to Spring Cave for some hiking. We had a good hike up and the interesting this was that people usually cross a bridge to avoid getting wet, but the bridge we crossed was shoe deep in water. That was a nice way to start out the hike. After bathing in bug spray we headed on up. After a very nice and scenic hike we found the mouth of the cave. The cave was actually humid inside and that made everything slicker.

Amanda Car Trouble (Again)

So pretty much we’ve had fun with Amanda’s car on our Honeymoon (Brakes), trip to RV (Fuel Pump), and this one (Tire action). After we got up to Meeker, went hiking, and got back in the Grand AM to head back into Meeker with the car pulling BAD to the right. So we headed to the tire shop and they put a tube in it so we could make it to Denver.

Meeker Recreation Park

After dropping the car off we went to the pool. I thought it was just a pool, but it is actually a water slide, kid pool, lazy river, basketball hoop, and diving board. Pretty much i had to try it all. This is all crammed into one room (they wouldn’t let cameras in becuase people are in swimming suits…) and it was pretty sweet! I was a big fan and i was fun to play with Carli, Reagan, and Molly. About when we got ready to leave my contacts decided they were done working for the day and i couldn’t see anything until we back home so i could get them out.

Olympics

The opening ceremonies came on and we got pretty excited. I love the Olympics and and pretty stoked to see the rest of it. After about three or four hours we all were out of it and headed to bed.

Mount Evans

Ya, if you can’t read the orange sign it says ROAD DAMAGE. I think that may have been the understatement of the trip.

Guitar Hero III & Wii

We jammed some guitar hero on they TONKY TONK saturday night after getting back to the house. It was fun to just relax with them and have a day off.

Carne Asada

We cooked carne asada for the family on Sunday after church. It was very chill and i’m sure that we all ate too much.
