Friday while working with one of my customers who happens to be part of the Spanish Branch. I ended up getting the assignment of talking in the Branch that Sunday (today). Pretty much I had no time to get it ready between Clancey coming to town and DJing Shane Slad’es wedding. We ended up having a great time with Clancey and Cynthia on Saturday. They headed out after a little cookie and egg fun at The Older McBride’s house. We headed home, and ended up just going to bed. This morning i woke up at 7 (thanks Amanda) and got my talk hammered out. It ended up going rather well (thanks gift of tounges) and I enjoyed being back in the culture even if it was only for an hour. Mom took a bunch of pictures so I’ll have to get ahold of those and get them up soon.

Conference Weekend
Last weekend was full of spiritual uplifting. I feel that it was definately a voice of warning for the troubling times we find ourselves in. We got a lot of homework done, took it easy, and learned a lot.
The week has gone by so fast, and we are busy busy. We just had a meeting at the rodeo grounds talking about the improvements that will be made this year, and i’m very excited to see how people want to continue the tradition of rodeo here. We are meeting again soon which will be great to see the progression in such a short ammount of time.

Favorite Kids Books

This has me so excited! This was by far one of my favorite kids books growing up. Shel Silverstien is another personal favorite that I would love to have again as well as Dr. Suess. I learned how to read on One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.
When I saw the trailer for Where the Wild Things are I jumped on half.com and bought the book for Rustyn.
What was your favorite book as a kid?
