Quotable Bonnie

Here’s a few quotes that we’ve remembered Bonnie saying

“Never, ever give up!”

“Cowgirl up, and ride through it”

“Go to the front and stay there”

“Kill ‘em with Kindness”

“Cherish the Moment”

“Choice among our freedoms is our freedom to be obedient. We obey because we choose to.”

“If  you think that God is far away, guess who moved?”

“Damnit, get to work!”

“Well… Modesto did…”

One of Bonnie’s Favorite Scripture

I was looking at Bonnie’s scriptures today, and in the front she had written on the first page that his was one of her favorite scriptures. It hit me hard to see how much she missed her husband, and how much that relationship meant to her. Read verse twelve and hold on to those you have and love. Also written in the front was the quote, “Choice among our freedoms is our freedom to be obedient. We obey because we choose to.”

Sun City and a Swim

We went to the valley for the weekend primarily for a server upgrade a Crown of Life (a customer of ZNET Networks), and got to take a day off on Saturday.  Rustyn traveled really well and even got a present from “Aunt Sue”.  She gave him a lion holding a lamb that sings “Jesus Loves Me”.  He fell asleep holding it a few times in the car throughout the weekend.  Saturday evening we made it back to Aunt Mary’s and went for a swim.  Despite past experiences with a swimming pool, Rustyn loved the water and even put his head under water a few times.  Sunday we visited Monson, and Rustyn learned how to share someone else’s toys.

Trek 2010 Video Update

We haven’t forgotten about you I promise.  I’m waiting to receive the media so I can start making the copies.  In the meantime, here is a video slideshow I showed today to 8 stake presidents, their bishops, Elder Richard G. Scott, Elder Snow of the Seventy, and our area authority Elder Wright.
