Our piano got some action today
Get it? Our tuner brought back the “guts” or the action of our piano today. It definitely doesn’t sound like our living room is a saloon anymore. We even bartered piano work for computer work. I had that moment where I wanted sheet music to play, and then Rustyn reminded me that my job was to be entertaining him. I guess I’ll have to fit in time to play like everything else.

Count your Blessings
Sunday afternoon, sitting out on the back porch while my son plays in his “Johnny-Jump-Up” getting to reflect on what matters the most in life. Isn’t it interesting how less than ideal situations help us to realize the beaitiful things that we have. The sun begins to hang low in the sky and I have this for a view.

It helps me to understand how blessed I am, and how lucky I am to live in the country I live, work at the place I work, and most importantly have the spouse and family that are written about in fairy tales (without the talking mice or evil step-sisters). While one of our crazy cats runs across the back yard for no apparent reason and our dog plays with a toy I get to take a moment and take it the beauty of this life. Thank you for the interaction that each and everyone of you have in my life. It definitely makes it a life worth living.
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch..
We got done with lunch at Grandma’s so we headed out to the ranch to see the new baby goats. Rustyn even got to meet BBQ (the baby boy goat). TK is still very, very pregnant.
