My parents and Sally and her kids came up for the weekend and we had a great time out at the barn. Maggi got to ride Leaf Getter, which made her weekend I think. Sammy was even super brave and not only got to pet her but also got a ride. He did so great especially because he didn’t even want to get near the horse in the first place. Rustyn was a natural when we put him on the horse. He grabbed the saddle horn and held on like crazy. He was grinning the whole time and even clapped for himself when the ride was over. We also got to go over to Dickie and Merr’s to see the baby goat and chickens. The Torbet children were pretty impressed with this as well. We went out to the meadow to see the new baby calf, but the mom had it hidden well and we couldn’t find it. With a lot of Wii playing and eating good (bad ) food the weekend was a success! As far as I know we all had a really good time. Thanks for everyone who was a part of this weekend and making it fun for everyone!

Thursday night was a great night! I was able to graduate from nursing school and take a big breath of relief! Now I am not sure what I am going to do with my time, I can’t use the excuse that I have to study anymore, well I can until I take the test the means everything. I am planning on taking the NCLEX asap. Just waiting on the authorization to test from the testing company now. I hope this happens by then end of May and then I can start working in the ICU at Summit Regional Medical Center in Show Low.
Another Bun in the Oven
..or as my mother-in-law always says, “There’s another bird burning in the oven!” So guess what I woke up to on Saturday the 7th? Amanda telling me that I needed to see something.. I figured it was one of a few things, and wouldn’t ya know what i saw?
We are so excited to bring another child into this world, well a little terrified, but mostly excited. Rustyn will be a great big brother and I’m sure he is going to love this baby as much as we do. We will keep everyone posted on the progress and will keep pictures posted.
